Estrobolome

The gut bacteria that help regulate how much estrogen circulates in your body.

The estrobolome is the set of gut microbes whose enzymes (like beta-glucuronidase) influence how much estrogen is reactivated and recirculated versus cleared from the body. A healthy, fibre-fed gut supports balanced estrogen clearance — one reason gut health and hormone balance are so closely linked.
