Cortisol
The main stress hormone; chronically high levels raise blood sugar and drive inflammation.
Cortisol is your primary stress hormone, released by the adrenal glands. In short bursts it's helpful, but when stress is chronic, persistently high cortisol raises blood sugar, disrupts sleep and can worsen inflammation and hormonal balance — which is why stress and sleep are genuine parts of a nutrition protocol, not afterthoughts.
